We had a beautiful wildfire erupt not far from our house last night (luckily far enough to not be a concern for us, yet). This is the view from our rooftop.

After seeing that view we took a little drive to try and get a better view.

This is from about 6-8 miles from the fire.

It was very cool to see, but unfortunately it's no where near contained and there are lots of homes that are being threatened. Luckily no livestock or homes have been lost yet, but we have a long ways to go before it's out.

Yea, so far the wind has been in our favor, but it won't take much to fill our entire valley.
