That being said, there's the whole idea of the Divine Watchmaker which can be construed as a mixture of creationism and evolution. The idea is that in the begining some being created the universe and the rules that govern it's workings; not unlike the 'life simulations' people have written for computers over the years.

It all happens slowly. Read The Blind Watchmaker, it will all makes sense.

There is no chimp into orang conversion. It's a slow process having to do not only with natural selection, but sexual selection as well.
