I really wanted to be a medieval, plague-era apothecary for Halloween, but the fuckin masks are expensive. I found a DIY with paper mache (sp?), but it's not as sweet looking as the good ones.

Maybe next year Zac will be one with me...

FYI - The beak is for stuffing scented herbs, potpourri, etc to mask the stench of bursting, rotting wounds and to protect the moist nose and throat areas from infection.
