Dead Men Risen: The snipers' story

Operating from a remote patrol base in Helmand, two British snipers were responsible for killing 75 Taliban fighters in just 40 days. In one remarkable feat of marksmanship, two insurgents were dispatched with a single bullet.

Real men wouldn't hide and bushwack them. A real man would walk straight at them, eyes like slits, a toothpick in the mouth with an itchy trigger finger poised ready for the taliban to make one false move.

Yeehaaa!

Second and third look like the same distance.

First looks about 3x what ever the second and third are. no clue on actual distances though.

Fourth looks like it was taken at about five feet.

You can use the mils, and avg height of the guys to measure it.

Or you can use the avg torso of a man ( 18 inches)

Just roughly I came up w/
1st 423 yards
2nd I'm not sure, I can't find anything to range it on .

3rd 200 yards ( which is pretty right on seeing the shot was taken from 192m and this is a pic of the two guys dead)

I have a Laser range finder, which I almost always use. It's fun using the Mills to range targets though.
