Gunmen stormed the offices of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris Wednesday and opened fire, killing at least 12 people in what French authorities are calling the worst terror attack in four decades. The masked gunmen shouted Islamist slogans and exchanged gunfire with police as they fled, and a massive manhunt for the suspects is underway.

So they are calling it a terrorist attack..

I saw the footage of the point blank shooting of the man on the ground.

These muzlimz I swear!

But didn't they publish that Muhammad thing ages ago??

WAY TO HOLD A FUCKING GRUDGE YO
The Muhammad thing was in 2007 maybe? They've posted comics more recently mocking ISIS. They've been receiving threats for years and two of the guys killed had police escorts for the last few years (that obviously didn't work in the end).

Fuck Eh?!!! Daaaamn
Shit just got real!

Honestly everyone knows those radicals are fucking insane all in the name of Allah so why taunt them?

Exactly. We're actually busy trying to look sympathetic and apologizing to the rest of the world for the misery we've forced on everyone.
That shit was going to get out into the rest of the world sooner or later. We might've helped speed it up but we haven't forced shit on anyone*

What they did is more disrespectful to Muhammad than any picture or cartoon that paper published.
That's your interpretation of the religion. There are no hard and fast rules in religion. The goal is to stick to the ones you like, and judge everyone else that doesn't.

Christianity - So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12
Muslim - Serve God, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbors who are near, neighbors who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess [the slave]: For God loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious Surat An-Nisa' 4:36
Judaism - What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow: this is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn. Shabbath folio:31a, Babylonian Talmud
Taoism - The sage has no interest of his own, but takes the interests of the people as his own. He is kind to the kind; he is also kind to the unkind: for Virtue is kind. He is faithful to the faithful; he is also faithful to the unfaithful: for Virtue is faithful. Tao Teh Ching, Chapter 49
Sikhism - The truly enlightened ones are those who neither incite fear in others nor fear anyone themselves. p.1427, Slok, Guru Granth Sahib, tr. Patwant Singh
