i have some hope at least, if they dont kiddie-ify em. As much as some people with argue with me, the new Star Trek's were great, and not silly at all. The same director (i think...?) could do the same for star wars.

I'd like to agree, but star wars fans are very serious about the canon of the universe Lucas started. JJ Abrams has proved with both Star Treks that he doesn't give a fuck about the lore.
