Anyone ever done radio ads?

Has anyone ever done or been involved with writing or making radio ads? Did you like the 15, 30 or 60 second ads the best? Any advice for a n00b?

Figure out what you think you can say in your allotted time and then cut the number of words in half. Speak slowly and clearly.

Unless you are selling something, then say the sneaky stuff really fast.

I've done them.

The time really depends on what your selling. Once you write and maybe even cut the various versions it will be obvious which length works.

Write the ad and time it out with a stop watch.
