Jail was created by and is produced by John Langley and his son Morgan Langley, the father and son team who also produce the long-running network show "COPS" for Fox. Jail's theme song "Get Me Out" is performed by rapper Lil' Droppa, who announced plans to promote the song with a video on his YouTube channel
The booking of former NFL Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson into the Clark County, Nevada Detention Center was featured in the show's February 11, 2008 episode. [1]
