I don't give a shit and they pretty much do so whatever. Nobody is getting fucking pregnant in this house.
that wasn't me trying to pull some "you'll change your mind" shit or wishing it on you, I was being serious about the fact that it's not the 100% impossibility people think it is.

Saw either a fox or coyote in the neighborhood last night. A first for the area for me.

Took the dogs out kind of late, Pepper saw something and latched on while I told her to stay. When I looked up I saw it. Was directly under a streetlight and was just in the process of getting up and moving away.
Huge pointed ears, big bushy tail that almost touched the ground, didn't get a good look at the snout or any coloring.
I'd probably estimate it was the size of a 35-40lb dog? It was late and about 100 yards away though.

Gonna go ask a couple neighbors if they have a doorbell that might have caught it.

Having a gorgeous, super-friendly dog is a big problem when you're antisocial.

I just give a quick nod of acknowledgement, maybe a hello, and keep moving.
Whatever small pleasantries you engage in the main thing is keep those feet moving forward, everything goes south when you stop.

I would have thought social distancing helps with that? Walks with a reactive dog have been easy for months, no dogs running up, nobody super close. Just wondering what my plan is to socialise Dax when he gets here.
Was on a trail yesterday, some places where there's not much room and a few times where he saw them and went up to greet them before I was aware and could get him on leash. When I saw them coming I'd leash him and try to get as far off the trail as possible for distancing but it was in a gorge so not always effective. He was on leash for the busier part of the trail where the creek is fast with lots of whitewater. Then there are the folks who just straight up walk up to him on our walks.

I should be more of an asshole.
