That's okay. We'll miss you but I understand life is crazy. I've been meaning to visit you for a year and haven't gotten to it yet and I was just in Milwaukee :(

Dave, I'm due Oct. 18th, the day before our wedding anniversary.

Oh wow, I'm 45 minutes from Milwaukee too

We're losing our kid flies free status in September too, so I don't know how much travelling we'll be doing in the future. Flying with a kid under 2 is amazing and a piece of cake, since you get extra carry on's and check a "carseat" for free, and you get to the front of all of the security lines if you have a stroller. I'm going to miss it.

:(

And how's your munchkin?

Terrible Twos don't lie  She's actually wonderful when she isn't throwing herself on the floor kicking and screaming.

How's yours?? How old is he now? Lilly will be turning 2 next month. We're thinking of doing her party at Monkey Joes rather than at the house and we're debating over whether we should invite all 16 kids from her class or just the ones we know.

Fair enough as long as you admit you misread me.

I switch between this and work rapidly with a KVM switch. So sometimes when I have a lot of replies to make I just skim over a post to get the gist of it, and sometimes that leads to a fuck up.

Yeah, we were only there for an hour and a half so it wasn't feasible to see you, but don't worry. I've got two years of munchkin flies free status ahead of me, so I'll try to make it out that way soon as I can.

ugh... Juli's ex just bought their daughter a dog. so now the girl is all "o.m.g! I can't wait to go home!!!!". I'm positive Juli is just loving this....... :(

 We got so good at flying with the baby too

Although I have to say it, even with the fits and stuff (they don't last long, seconds to a minute) I like having a kid much better than having a baby. Seriously, nothing in the world compares to hearing Lilly Anne say for the first time, "Mommy I loo you"

Will be turning 4 at the end of November. In a word, he's huge. Seriously. He is allowed to be on every ride at DisneyWorld save two of them. He still thinks pouting will work on us but he has only thrown one full blown tantrum since he's been born so we got lucky we skipped that. He starts school in 3 weeks. :omy:

That's awesome! He's not starting kindergarden yet is he?

I have to say, the children on this board have some pretty fantastic names. Classical without being dated. Memorable without being obnoxious. not something that's too easy to make fun of.

No. 2 years of pre-school then he'll start.

We have Lilly in a Montessori school, it's pretty fantastic. I am seriously considering keeping her in that rather than public school. She's not yet 2 and dresses herself, socks shoes and all, she counts to 20 and sings the alphabet, and she doesn't wear diapers during the day anymore. She also says please and thank you for everything, she's more polite than most adults I know. I can't say enough good things about the Montessori school.

I think it's because we're old(er) :fly: Although Lilly Anne does have an obnoxious name, since Lilly Anne is her first name, and she has a separate middle name... filling out her birth certificate was fun, the lady was so confused I had to write it down for her.
