Hawt Anyone doing anything for Halloween?

I'll be doing the same I do every year. They close off a block of two of 6th avenue down in the Bungaloe district in St. pete near the Vinoy, and each house on the block does a different theme party. Anywhere from 200-300 people show up. It's ALWAYS a great time.

Did you not do the whole trick or treating thing as a kid? Very fun. When I was a kid my neighborhood did a whole day thing. There were like 50 kids in my neighborhood so it was a great party. We had a parade and prizes for the best costume and a block party during the day, then after dark it was all about the trick or treating. Lots of families did haunted house type deals so it was always a little scary and fun. The decorations were neat. My neighborhood was also really safe so there wasn't a real worry about anyone getting hurt or abducted or poisoned. It was an ideal situation.



I have no plans for Halloween this year. :(
 
going to a big warehouse party that a gf of mine bartends every year. brought spange last year. good times. they run an illegal bar and last year they had a cop at the top of the street directing traffic. :fly:
 
Friday: sleep
Saturday: Drive to DC (maryland, actually), eat sushi, play board games, sleep
Sunday: Run the Marine Corps road race. Party with my hubby and friends at the finish line. Then drive back home and eat all the candy we're supposed to give out to trick or treaters with the lights off.

Once or twice.

I wont be taking my son out for it though.

also taking that week off. my bday is nov. 1. still have 2 weeks of vaca to kill so I figured why not.
 
turn the lights out (so kids think noones in and won't keep rapping my door) and lie up all night

i have an 8.30am start on mondays - so no dice, even if it is one of my preferred holidays simply for the aesthetic.
 
Your wifie's side of the family scares me. I don't think I want to be even in the same county as your side. :eek:
