No matter what you do if you don't have cats and go to someone's house who does you will smell them. The same goes for dogs. You don't think they smell at all because you live there and are used to it.

I think dogs smell worse.

At least cats don't personally stink. Just if no one cleans up after them.

This is not true, I don't recall smelling their cats when we were there. Also, I ask people that don't live at my house to tell me if mine smells like dog and they say no (and these are people that I know would tell me if it did).

I can tell if someone has a cat if I meet them at a bar or some other venue and not in their house. Stupid allergies.

dogs depends on their environment as to whether they stink or not..

cats get it from their litterbox, and the fact that not many cat owners wash their cats..

That's what I meant. As long as they keep the litterbox clean, cats don't have a smell.

At least not to me.
