My boss made a huge deal earlier this summer about us dropping everything and going installing a new network rack/ladder racks/etc. in a screwy location in a network closet so it'll be ready for a project that we did just last week. At the time we told him that he was confused and we should hold closer to time to do the project to make sure it was where we needed it. But he's the boss so...His boss just called us saying why in the hell did we do everything on the badly located rack and it was wrong so we have to go waste a few hours fixing shit that would have ever been wrong if my boss would just listen to the people that have way more experience than him. So fucking typical of him. Everything is an emergency and he rushes shit while telling us bad info and then we have to fix it later and over all it takes more time.
someone is getting moved out of my group at work and I am going back to working 2 floors by myself. the upshot is I will have 2 offices again and will get tickets aplenty because it's the CEO's floor that I'm taking over again

Everything is going to be okayI just got screwed on Mini Flops MMA school. She's been going to one in Hyde Park for over a year now. I have over a grand in past classes, well over a grand in equipment, and a little over a grand in prepaid classes for the next year. The school up and closes and has a note on the door saying all classes cancelled please contact the Carrolwood or Clearwater schools for classes. This being a chain I contacted the HQ and was informed all the schools are individually owned franchises and the HQ only allows the name and is not responsible. They told me the owner up and shutdown without telling anyone and the other schools in the area are offering to honor the classes you already paid him for. Which of course does me no good because they are on the opposite side of the city and there is no way I'm going to make it that far in time for her classes. You attempt the call the old school and everything is disconnected and the building is cleaned out. It even had a sign that said "All employees can pick up their personal items at the Clearwater office." Fucking shady bastards these days.
