wtf, one of my best friends was murdered

that is HORRIBLE. :( i remember him...he was such a fun guy at the party!! i'm so sorry to hear that...how disturbing and awful and surreal. :(

I had to call my ex this morning and break the news to her...she grew up with him and was the reason I knew him

i found a few pictures of him from the party...they aren't great pictures, but sometimes it's nice to have them, regardless. let me know if you'd like them. :heart:
 
I'm terribly sorry Chris.

My friend was 32 when he was murdered a few years ago. Same sort of
situation. It's a profound thing, really. 32 years. Over a billion seconds worth of synaptic activity erased in the blink of an eye. A single random circumstance and that person will never exist again. Ever. And eventually no one will ever know he existed at all. Thinking about the totality of that, the bleak futility of our lives, is pretty overwhelming.

she was shocked naturally...we've emailed back and forth about it a few times since I talked to her early this morning

the story doesn't mention any robbery so who knows? they didn't take his car which was a very nice lexus sc430 hardtop vert and they don't mention his wallet being gone
