No I'm not being better than thou. I'm being truly sad to see a moderator leave that I liked and had no problems with. I came to thise forum for the exact reasons he stood for. If I want spam I have Multiple other forums.

I'll follow it up with a general video games thread. Sadly... theac was the main person that responded on those. I know I'll miss him here. (I need to shoot an email to see what all went down. After voting the respect thread to a 1, I basically stopped reading it. Didn't look like a happy place after it was locked, though.)
I posted my perspective on it before. It seems like he (and a few others) were seeing something the rest of the forum wasn't.

All I could see from reading the second page of the respect thread was alot of beerad acting like one of the trolls from genmay which is what I thought we were trying to get away from and honestly calling someone a 2 year old is a whole nother level than calling someone a bitch.
but in anycase. I really hope things like this don't continue. I like the people here and would hate to have this turn into a another hard forum debacle.
