Apparently the first edition PS1's are great cd players. I remember people getting clowned on for using their playstations as a CD player in highschool. It kind of makes me wish I still had mines as the motor was still good on it. (A former roommate 'borrowed' it from me and then a few months later I found out he sold it to someone else for 20 dollars. ) I had like three overall but the other two I got from gamestops and only lasted a month before the lasers went out.

So, I figure if any one of us still have a PS1 it would be Theacoustician. He also can accurately say if this is BS or not, so what say you?

Werd, I was telling someone about this the other day. I still have a PSX SCPH 1001.

PS Ones are those things that are way small.

lol, did you read the comments? they pretty much clear up any confusion here
Bingo. I think the last comment has it there too, except for the part about the quality of a digital cable doesn't matter. That's not quite right. It doesn't matter as much as an analog cable, but it still matters. That's like saying it doesn't matter what CAT5 cable you use, as long as your computer can see the network.

Oh to be you for a day.

Seriously, how do you not beat someone to death with a hammer for failing at life so hard?

Oh it was so hard. His excuse was that he never saw me playing it. This was like mid 2000 so I didn't play it much because I was playing Quake 3 all the time. I found out who got it but it went to a six year old kid so I couldn't get it back. I still miss that system simply because I know it probably would still run today the way I took care of it.
