Ontopic The Shooting Thread

I think it's going to have to be a social change rather than a legal one.

I forbade guns in my house, much to the chagrin of my open carry enthusiast relatives, but they now either don't come to events I host, or leave their guns at home, either of which is a win, IMO.
Ideally it would be both, but there's near-zero political will to do good things so.

Idk I feel like it takes a little more to prevent water ingress? Anyways the puddles on the commute aren't that deep. Fucking unlined beds too.
I know what you're saying: you're so cool you hate pickup trucks and guns. Dude, no one cares. Some people just like doing stuff and dont judge. That dude in a lifted F250 will also probably be the first to stop and help you out if you breakdown.

I have full faith in any random motherfucker. You are a judgemental prick.

I have faith we'll overcome this violence problem but not with more laws. No one trusts anyone anymore. If you want to be like the dude above me and think the worst of your fellow man I don't know what to tell you. I've never judged anyone. We're all here to live thrive and survive.

Bad things do happen. There is STILL a pandemic. That doesnt mean that some dude in a lifted truck with a gun rack is dangerous. Seriously, check yourself.

Everything that is free isnt free because someone didnt fight for it. Freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom from the police is because you are entitled to defend yourself. I wouldnt be so quick to give that up.

Because Mrs Crabtree, 2 years till retirement, is the perfect person to train to defend against an active shooter.

what if the teacher looses his marbles and has a bad day and decides to shoot his 3rd grade class ?

gross
Then we call him a "bad guy", bury our heads in the sand, and keep killing each other. It's not the best answer, or even a good answer, but it's our answer. Hooray USAmerican exceptionalism!
