Often I'm sure. I don't like red meats so it works well for me. There's some really good stuff coming out. I was amazed by the mcplant. The smoked fake cheese I had on my sandwich is the absolute best. I wouldn't eat any other fake cheese tbh, but this one is exactly like a German smoked cheese. It's made by a traditional cheese manufacturer which perhaps makes the difference compared to a niche brand.
I think my problem is that I eat the real thing. We have some friends who went from pescatarian? to vegan over a year ago. She was RAVING about this awesome cheese. April bought some to try. We threw it away it was so nasty. My theory is that at this point, they don't even remember what it tastes like, so it now is 'cheese' to them.

That said, if you enjoy it, obviously eat it. Who gives a shit. <3

And you call it ham rather than slaughtered pig flesh because...? Call it what it is bro! Why people get so uppity about non meat food names it baffling  Peanut butter.. but it's not butter!!! Wahhh
I call it ham because it's salt cured pig ass, and that's the definition of ham.

And yes, the pig's slaughtered, but it's hard to do the whole salt cure process on a live pig.

I won't even try most imitation cheese. That shit has been so gross but it is getting better for sure. I don't eat too much processed food but what I do get is pretty tasty. Occasional fake chicken pieces for salads, burgers for dinner now and again etc. I think there's definitely a thing about forgetting taste but there's equally something about taste changing over time. The idea of eating red meat actually makes me feel sick now after years of never having it. With cheese I had proper cheese now and again but I'm pretty over it since its so infrequent, I've lost any fondness for it.
