You could save a boatload just buying the Saturn L-series the 9-5 wagon was based on.My wife doesn't want me to get a free manual '02 Saab 9-5 wagon with a blown engine.
I can't understand why.

edit: oh, free. You know the real shame of it all is, I NEVER LEARNED TO READ! :throws water at face:
I dunno, badge engineering never really suited Saab.Saab > Saturn
Thats why they didn't do it. Multiple times Saab took GM's shit vehicles and actually made them good. Cost subsequently went through the roof, but the cars were decent. The 9-5 was in that era as far as I can remember.I dunno, badge engineering never really suited Saab.
But wrx in a suit!I dunno, badge engineering never really suited Saab.
I have so many mixed feelings about that description.I've been looking for a car for a bit. Shared some of my ideas with the wife and when she was done recoiling in horror we had a talk and she decided to enable me.
I think I'm gonna look for a 2016+ Mustang, Ecoboost or Track Pack V6, convertible, manual.
And?I have so many mixed feelings about that description.
I'm of the opinion that 'verts should be "fun" cars or cruisers, due to the compromises inherent. Mustang is more about power/performance than "fun" imo. Power itself is fun, of course, but in a different way. But then a 6 in a Mustang is already putting priorities outside of power, so maybe why not? The 6 isn't lacking power, and possibly makes the car better balanced? But then chopping the roof off and adding mass to gain back stiffness throws all that off again. And?
You could do worse.I've been looking for a car for a bit. Shared some of my ideas with the wife and when she was done recoiling in horror we had a talk and she decided to enable me.

Sounds fun. Ive sworn off Fords tho, with the exception of pickup trucks. I'd like a pickup truck.I've been looking for a car for a bit. Shared some of my ideas with the wife and when she was done recoiling in horror we had a talk and she decided to enable me.
