Around here it does. You won't see it on any retail shelf. I don't know about other places. Maybe it's a house brand for some grocery or dollar store chain we don't have.
Fine print on the back should say Clements Nut Company or Clements Foods. Peanut processing plant in Lewisville.

I only know that because "American peanut butter" is a mighty vague search term but some folks involved in some bicycle race in Berlin had a pic of it and mentioned Clements Nut Company.
