Ontopic The new car-seching thread

My thoughts exactly. Gonna need $3000 in Bondo to even stabilize that bitch.

Take the 4 bills, abandon it on a public street, and let it be the city's problem.
Somebody else wants to throw their money in that particular toilet they can buy it at auction in 90 days.

The first of the month is add fluid to the power steering reservoir day for me. Extra grindy this morning.

IDK if that Quest has the Nissan power steering pump/rack and pinion or not, but if it does, the high pressure line is likely the culprit. They're an enormous pain in the ass to change, unfortunately.

I chased my power steering leak from the reservoir (return and feed lines were weeping), to the pump (which I rebuilt), to the high pressure line (which I replaced), to the return line (which I also replaced). I'm still kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop and the rack itself to start leaking.

Hard to say. Everything about it is Ford, so I assume that part is too.

I recently had new CV joints/axles installed and I asked him if he saw where it was leaking and he said “Everywhere. It’s leaking everywhere.” and motioned with his hands like the entire sky was oily.
