OMG Y'all were here for that???
seems like that was 8374834763287 years ago

My introduction to you was you posting one of those filtered pics that made it look like you had rainbow colored dreads or something, to which I replied, "if George Clinton were a white woman".

Then I got schooled on how not-white you are.

Oh you people slay me! Nice roast. The hill is easy when the weeds aren't a foot high. Hill+weeds=difficulty.
Four feet tall yay! You guys gave me a couple extra inches.

Go out there with a level and a yardstick and show them the slope, nukes.

I knew people in my yute who had to tie a rope around the rear axles of the mower and lower it down the hill and pull it back up. That’s what I imagined.

Nukesie
Did you raise the deck as high as possible prior to starting? I know that’s a reach.

My little push mower still works great. Haven't even had to do so much as put gas in it.

Stock photo. My weeds don't look like that.
My wife ordered one of those. Got used exactly ONCE. LOLOLOLOLOL. When I was a teen I used to drag our Craftman reel from house to house, doing lawns for $2. Muh Gramps had taught me how to sharpen the blades nicely and adjust it for a clean cut - I still have the "boat stone" he gave me. good times. :)

Eh, keep it sharp and adjusted for a good "swoosh" sound and it works great as long as you don't let the grass get too tall. There's a point where it'll just push it over instead of reel it in.
The solution to that is mow both directions. Get it leaning over one way then come back against the grain.

Mine is actually easier to push than a gas mower. Much lighter weight and bigger wheels.

Not something I'd do if my yard was measured in acres instead of feet but works great for a typical city/suburb lot.
