I was assuming locked meant locked with no way to open, yes.
Been a while since I reviewed any OSHA guidelines, but based on what I remember of other passages I would bet that OSHA doesn't give a shit if it's an entrance or exit in an emergency, just that it is unlocked during business hours. In a panic people arent going to head to the exit, they're going to head to a door.

There may be a specific provision for separate entrance and exit doors, though. In which case this entire reply is moot.
so what i meant was that doors can lock in a way where if you try to open them one way, the lock is engaged, but in the other direction it is not (thus, the same singular door is locked from entering, but does not prevent folks inside from safe egress)

ever seen the doors that have a pull handle on the outside, a pushbar on the inside, and then that little flap you push that lets you open it if it's locked?

most emergency exit doors are like that, some don't even have a handle on the outside.

I think that relies on the assumption that the locked doors are locked in both directions & that there aren't other emergency exits that are intended to be one-way. I don't think OSHA would be worried about if people could get into the store, just out.

for point 1, they are. The deadbolts are closed. But there is the exit door, which behaves normally from the inside.

Yeah, but I dont know that those would be found at a grocery store or anywhere with automatic doors. You arent gonna go through that trouble with a cart full of grub, that'd be enough to make me find another store.

problem is if I turn off the shits wifi then he spends hit time buggin me
I saw one where the kids come home after school to find the wifi off and a note from mom saying 'you'll get the password when you text me pics showing these chores are completed.'

I kind of like that one.

I feel like a bunch of the stores here have both, like one or two sets of auto doors but also regular doors but I may be misremembering or thinking of different store types. but the robit said his are not the kind I was talking about anyway, just the auto doors.

I make sure all meals showers and homework are done before one single game gets played. That's how I roll.
Others in this house do things differently.
That's her problem.
Previous wife(rip) insisted on no TV Monday-Thursday AT ALL. Ditto for computer games. Friday they had to put in an hour on the homework before any TV or computer screwing around. We had lots of books, made lots of trips to the library. Physical media FTW!

our current ratio for the 3 year old is she has to read 20 books before she can watch a couple episodes of tv (daniel tiger or pete the cat)

When two episodes are up, she turns off the tv herself by shouting at it "Alexa, turn off the tv please" at absolute maximum volume.

Somehow... alexa complies.
