Dude. The mower is dead and I have to build ramps to get it into the bed.

Then get that fucker up the ramps.

Too bad it wasn’t a Craftsman mower with an extended warranty. The guy would come fix it for free and if it needed to go in, he had a trailer.

Yeah, yeah, Craftsman sucks, Sears sucks, and your mower is still tits up.

One of the first jobs I had after relocating was exactly what I described above. I drove a van with a trailer big enough to hold four or five tractors, fixed woodworking equipment, and dropped off and picked up mowers. Sometimes if time allowed and we had the mower for awhile, I’d offer to mow for them.

This one guy had a field the size of a soccer pitch with a miniature railroad that circled it, along with several outbuildings that resembled depots, or businesses, and his kids lived in them. He also had statues and life-size figures here and there, including a life-size Native American in full head dress.

I sucked down a big bowl of weed while gearing up and while mowing, I saw that Indian out of the corner of my eye try to attack me a half dozen times.

The Caddy had a flip down center backseat opening and I had a 2X6 across the back seat with some nice strapping going into the box and then attached to the snowblower. But I still took the back roads so I wouldn't have to explain THAT to LEO. meow.
Impressive. but not 'in the trunk of a Honda' impressive. :fly:

I'm a part time musician dam-nit, I'm sure I've done worse.:fly:

The Honda Accord one IS impressive.

I've occasionally seen a car at Home Depot where someone broke a spring or had a roof column start to give and totally fuck a door, trying to put 25-30 sheets of drywall or plywood on top of a car. Nothing sadder than a small time carpenter where his pickup truck takes a shit from overloading in the parking lot of HD. The public shame and humility. hmm, I guess right in front of the building would be worse.:egads:
