You're supposed to break those dingers as soon as you buy the car. That and take that stupid plastic cover off the top of the engine and throw it away so you can get at stuff.

Grandbabymama had one. Brought it to me to help because the automatic sliding doors quit working. She's been driving it like that for weeks, having the kids go in the front and climb over the seats.


I showed her that switch on the dash that disables them so the kids can't open them.

It was fun.

Yeah, we plan to take really good care of it, want it to last until at least 2027-2028. 16 years is how long my accord lasted, and i beat the shit out of that.

Honda will do it with good maintenance. 60k isn't hardly even broke in yet for those things. I don't remember hers needing anything other than the regular routine stuff. She traded it for something else around 200k and it was still perfectly reliable then.
