i don't think you understand what occurred to enable that 4% to basically own half the world. In the past, if you wanted something, you had to lead an army to take it.

Now, you can pay a government to do it for you. That 4% didn't hold that much wealth, and, as such, that much power in the 50s. This is all new.

You don't fix Detroit by moving everyone to Chicago. You aren't gonna fix Mexico by moving everyone here. That's the whole problem. Shitholes need to be fixed, you can't just relocate the population to the nice neighborhood and hope that nice neighborhood stays nice.

Not at all, the right thing to do is to take action as a nation state since that's where real change can be effected. Me donating everything I have won't help much, me voting and marching and calling my elected officials to push for higher taxes on the wealthy and immigration reform will do a lot more while I'm still contributing to the gdp as well as the tax base.

This silly idea you have about donating everything exists because you have a child's understanding of the issue. You are literally providing an argument that gets debunked in high school economics classes.
