The Hoarse Whisperer
I've gotten about 3 suits from them....... All have been great quality suits.
Just buy there, and take to a local tailor if you feel uncomfortable with their in-house shop.
ALSO: It's easy to get the pants hemmed, Coat Cuffs shorted, there for nothing. THEN go to a local tailor & save yourself the charge on that easy stuff.
& tbh, if you really want to see how a suit fits, got to the most expensive high end shop you can find and tell them you're getting married and need a suit for the rehearsal dinner - your woman said you better look right so she's popping for it. Those guys will put you into the right suit by putting you in the right shirt & tie first, then, walk you through how a suit is actually supposed to fit. When you reach forward while you're wearing a suit, you should feel like you're getting hugged. It's not a loosey-goosey casual slop fit. Once you're fitted properly, TAKE NOTE OF THE SIZES AND HOW IT FEELS. TAKE NOTE OF WHERE THE SHOULDERS ARE, THE COAT LENGTH AND SLEEVE LENGTH. take note of how the staff looks.
People who don't often wear suits generally have no clue how they need to look or feel, and too frequently buy them a full size or two too large.
