If any of you currently have or have been thinking about multiple cell numbers on an AT&T plan, go check out the new family plan they debuted yesterday.

$100 for 10gb shared data (add additional gigs for $10), and something like $15 for each line on the account. Unlimited talk/text. I consolidated my wife's entire family (8 people) yesterday on one plan, and the total bill (before fees/taxes) is $220. We were all collectively paying about $600 before that, on various other plans.

8 of you are sharing 10GB and you're footing the bill? Are you sure of what you just walked into?

wtf is wrong with this country.

The most controversial ad from yesterday apparently is the very well done Coca-Cola commercial..

Check out the insanity over the twitter hashtag about it.

the people who swoon over it have already succumbed to copious amounts of white guilt, or love to promote white guilt.

The rest of us say, 'why can't they just all sing it in English?'

I thought it was a BS commercial myself and I can understand why people can get upset about it. I've seen first hand how language can ravage the educational system for example.

Nice cost savings!

I wonder this also:
8 of you are sharing 10GB and you're footing the bill? Are you sure of what you just walked into?
Seems like a recipe for overage charges to me.

5 of them average around 100 megs a month. No one averages over 1 gig per month. No individual data plans ftw. Everyone's paying their share, and whoever goes over pays the $10/gig overage.

I use almost 3 per month
I would so be kicked out of your AT&T circle of trust :(

Nah, you'd just add another gig or two for 10 or 20 bucks, which is still way fucking cheaper than it was before. 3 days ago I was paying almost $300 for my wife, son and me. Now our total bill is $40. (Her job just gave her an $80 stipend each month, so $120-80=40. Way better than $300.)

Lol @ we have cookies!
Of course you guys have cookies! How could the fattest nation in the world not have any damn cookies in on city / state??
Enema is just talking retard now.

No, she was referring to Maryland Cookies, which are popular in the UK but rare in Maryland.

Yeah, I thought it was cheesy and a silly way to sell Coke but while I was watching it I was imagining all the uptight, whiny, 'merica' loving, rednecks getting their panties in a bunch over it.

I just got a quote from them for 3 phones and it was $145. How did you get it to $120? Am I missing something?

I'm 100% for the whole "we all come from different places" thing. I just do have an issue perpetuating the language issue. They can say we don't have an official language but when our government, schools, universities, jobs, everything in our daily lives is done in one specific language then I have to disagree and say he we do have an official language. When I lived in Tampa I moved from one side of town to another. When I went to enroll miniflop into school the principle pulled me asisde and told me "look I have to be honest with you the area that feeds most of this school is majority non-english speaking and your daughter won't get a full level of schooling because of it." So I ended up breaking my lease and moving to a different location because of it. I've also seen first hand the language issue kills a large portion of public school in Denver proper. They spend so much time focusing on trying to get the non english speaking upto a basic level it hurts the students who actually speak english and are there for regular school. I've gone into restaurants, gas stations, etc and when the people helping me can hardly speak I just leave out of frustration. So wrapping up my rant I'm all for every level of people coming to the US but there has to be some sort of assimilation into the general population and that includes the language.
