So the other day i was getting a little bit over 4mb/s downloading from newsgroups...then today...like Joey Lawrence would say...WOOOOOAH....I"m getting 6mb/s! OMGWTF! I had seen commercials about comcast bumping their speeds up to 6mb at least a month ago...i guess they finally got to our area! :D :D :D :D

This is soooooo nice! ANd my boss at work is all hot and heavy that we are going from a 768kb DSL line to a full T1...:rolleyes: OOH BOY! 1.5mb/s... but it will be nice to be able to upload at 1.5mb/s from work!!! But damn...6mb/s is real fast like! I have a 28gig que to download and it's estimating the que to be done in 12 hours and 19 minutes! :mad: I can't wait that long! LMAO!

Are you getting upgraded too??

Man, I might bring my laptop home some day just to download something and enjoy the internet you and Mike pay for :fly:

Why am I weird?

btw I just got the complete series of Dharma and Greg as well as the complete Friends series (all 10 seasons) on DVD. It was really "expensive" but I used my "bonus money" to purchase it all. ;) :cool:

Try Netflix. It's inexpensive, and they can send out all the DVDs for almost any show; there is no limit to how long you keep them, and as soon as you return one another arrives. Shawn and I swear by it.

I also wanted to see the movie with JLo and Jane Fonda, so I know that was in the works this morning as well as last night's episode of Rescue Me which we "recorded" on our new cable box
