Youtube in high quality

So maybe I've been doing nothing but hex editing sony psp prx for too long..or maybe this is brand new..but..someone figured out how to unlock full quality streaming from youtube!
*heres a video from the front page that worked very well*

See how I added &fmt=18 to the end of the movie link. Now the original quality of the uploaded video is streamed to your browser!!!

After doing this you get a link under the video saying 'Watching this video in lower quality for faster playback' click it and see again ;)

Obviously, us all being the smrt people we are, we know you cant polish a turd...but the results are pretty impressive on the right videos.

meaning if a video was crappy when the uploader uploaded it, its allways going ot be crappy. but alot of videos on youtube come from decent sources..like the [M] movie trailer that was recently posted..the intro/outro graphics look great and a hand full of the camera shot video looks better..but some of the video was shot out of focus so its still going to look poor.

watching the embedded videos above, both show the same quality because that extra tag is ignored :( but if you look at the screen shots or open the video in its own window and do

I have a friend who watches youtube videos like tv, on his tv. I dont know why but he just loves youtube and has his computah hooked up to his other flat screen. Great find!
