yes, but why would you want to? IIRC, MacOS is UNIX based anyway.... IMO, You wouldn't really gain anything by moving to Linux.
That's a pretty steep price there, I think Apple's downfall will still be their pricing.

What this does is allow them to offer more low cost systems, like the mini. They'll always have their high end powermacs, but now theres no reason they can't offer LCD all in ones for under a grand.

Not all of the commands are exactly the same and sometimes things seem to be in odd locations. A good linux person can easily work around these annoyances.
