@HIps , you're undoubtedly feeling like shit about now, but damn you seemed to be having a good time of it.

Morning hips!! It's 12:45 pm.I guess everybody went to dinner at 4:30 and is now involved in a riveting game of whist. With any luck they might actually stay awake until dark.
There's a new age of hippies. You're not much of a hippie.
They are much closer to the same price here in grocery stores. Sometimes plant based is even cheaper. I suspect a lot of the price difference comes from the location (damn hippies and city slickers and Karens) and the meatless options are normally found as premium burger options in sit down restaurants.
The impossible whopper is only about a dollar more expensive at my local burger king and it's expected since it's a new item that had to be tested. The price has already decreased and is expected to be cheaper than meat as popularity grows.
Just like any new speciality item at a fast food joint it will cost more. The struggle will be getting them to stop being seen as a speciality item. That may or my not be possible. Thanks capitalism!

@Strings , not trying to horn in on your personal business but if you really want to impress the wife you should get a feather bed that's 9 feet high, 6 feet wide, and soft as a downy chick.
Those are the best.
I'd rather round up at Goodwill than give to the guy in the parking lot for one reason - some of those fucks in the parking lots and at corners will never return the money to home base. I collected for American Cancer Society when I was 17-18 and it was expected that 1 out of every X(8-9?) number of new people who were dropped off would never be seen again. Nor the stylish yellow and red ACS collection can.A guy just asked me to donate to veterans in the Wal-Mart parking lot. I said "no thanks". I always get funny looks from people for not rounding up at goodwill for the veterans. It seems like they'd rather tell me more about the store card than the veteran donation. How many of these organizations are getting most of that money to their cause? Seems like an easy scam to me.
