It was a doctor visit that caused this in the first place. I had hernia surgery on wednesday.

To be honest, I've been on percs since wednesday night so crabby doesn't live here at the moment.

In other news... 30 minutes from Shot to Pot. Still think there is more poop in there which needs to make an exit, but I have been avoiding food the past few days as a result so maybe...

I had a bad hernia and had surgery in '99. Pre surgery the military Dr. Said "we'll there are two ways they do this surgery. The old way is the scar and you'll be down for a month. The 2nd is the new way with little cuts and you'll be back to work in three days." I said well of course I want the new way. He said sorry we don't do the new way. So I was down for the whole 30 days pretty much fried on tylox all day. I had a neighbor checking in on me and feeding me pudding cups. They also had me taking fiber supplements. I just remember finally getting around after a few weeks and going to the chow hall to try real food. I was there 3 minutes before I had to have someone drive me home and I spent a couple of hours in the bathroom.

Yeah, mine wasn't bad. It was just a tear in my belly button. No scar at all. I'll be back to work on monday. Already pretty mobile today. My only issue was the 5 days of poo stashed away, even while taking Ducolax.

Mine was in the classic groin area. I had the mesh put in with staples etc.

One of my wife's relatives had a hernia fixed with the mesh and it ended up perforating her intestines. She almost died from it, took her 2 years to heal fully. Apparently her entire internal cavity was pretty filled with grossness.

I still have no idea how i did it, but i exercised a hernia away. Had a huge lump and loop of intestines down in my groin and did a bunch of exercises and pushes intended to squeese it back up through the hole it came down through. It actually worked, and that was 5 years ago and it hasnt returned.

That totally should not have worked
