Stick up for myself? The point being here is the guy and I are friends, and have worked together for 4 years in another company.

He leaves Thursday on vacation. He doesn't have any other options that will cost him LESS money, and he knows that he doesn't even need to give me more than the VPN info, and an Admin login, and I'm good to go. He's just flat out trying to lowball me when it's in HIS best interests to just say 'yeah'.

The extra cash was nice, but mostly I was going to help him out so he could get some vacation time.
