Hi there. I'm sorry you totaled your car. Like I said before I'm glad you are okay. And now I'm going to berate you for buying a useless, gas guzzling, monstrosity. Uck. I respect you less now. Do you just not care about the rest of the world at all? Okay, now I'm done my dirty hippie bleeding heart liberal ravings. Thanks for your time. Hope you enjoy your new vehicle.

you ever fly anywhere? one flight on a commercial jet will dwarf my carbon footprint from my truck for years.

I'm not sure why people still think that GMCs come with more options. Maybe if you compare the Denali version, but then you just compare it to the Escalade.

THE FFV option is the dumbest thing ever. You get around 10mpg with E85...

my truck can take e85, i get about 12mph with it, and 18 without. :wtf:

that's mixed city/highway driving. chevy's get a lot better gas mileage than other large vehicles for some reason.... especially dodges. my brothers '05 dodge ram gets 13mpg :wtf:

they just don't seem to come with LESS options, like the chevy line.

You can buy a base Yukon, just like a base Tahoe. I think they prob sell more of the upscale Yukons though. I think my PKG is called LT2.

I have no idea where you came up with that statistic, but it's ludicrous. Of course driving is a better thing than flying per passenger IF you carpool, but it's not like flying is that much more destructive to the environment than driving. The only way that statistic works in my opinion would be if I were the only person on the commercial jet and you had like 10 people in your car and we did the same trip.

Unless you grow your own food, weave your own clothing from natural fibres, don't use electronics or vehicles of any type, give the 'carbon' crap a rest.

If you do decide to weave your own clothing, I've found just planting things with big leaves, such as squash, makes it easier, just sew the leaves directly together as opposed to weaving anything. They don't really hold up well after washed though, so simply spot clean a couple days and then throw in your compost pile and make a new outfit. Oh, and it's a little itchy, just to warn you. I haven't found a leaf to line it with that helps much though. I 'll get back to you on that.

Dude, you need a burlap sack tree like I got in my front yard.

Absolutely, the only eco-friendly way I can send it to you is with a balloon I've woven from said burlap and filled with my emissions.

So it may take a while to get to you...

Or simply tie it to a swallow and have him fly over. They're headed south for the Winter about now anyway, so he won't even be exerting more energy than he would without the extra trip anyway.

Plus it will smell better.
