yeah, those you can run with or without heat. the fire image is optical. in general they're a suck replacement for a real fire, but it's better than nothing. we're putting one in a high-rise unit for a client. it's ridiculous that they have a gas range but aren't allowed to put in a gas fireplace.

But Patty might get confused when he's drunk and try and piss out the fire. That could get ugly quickly.

Do you know how small chimneys are? It would be lucky if you could fit a ladder in the hole left.

Also I didnt even know texans knew what stairs were. Lol ground floor houses.

Well we'd get dbzeag in there to pound away at the chimney and remove a couple walls to make it bigger, duh.

did you see what I did there?

To send my dirty dishes up to the attic?:fly:

1) Beer travels from fridge (in attic) down conveyor belt.
2) Beer slides down teflon coated, icy beer luge (in chimney).
3) Beer loads in to bear delivery system (in fire place).
4) Beer is delivered and enjoyed (on couch).

The heights of awesome to which this post climbs can only adequately be described by another illustrated post.
