webcam for skype?

Anyone do this? My brother wants me to skype video conference with him so i can see my niece. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive webcam for me to buy?

I do it!

As far as camera's go, just pick one in the 20ish range that has a built in microphone. I don't think there's THAT much difference between them. Oh also, make sure it has an easy connectivity feature so you can put it wherever you want it.

all webcams are basically the same nowadays, just pick up a cheap one somewhere.

if you have a camcorder at home, you could plug it in and use it as a webcam

Go look at a cheap Logitech where ever your closest computer store is. Get one with a mic. Easy.
