Walking in a winter wonderland

I've been wearing walking boots to work all week, no problem in the snow.

I have to say though I wish it snowed like this for a month of every year. It was so beautiful this morning, I closed my front door behind me and was like "Hmm something's weird" and I stood there for a minute or two and realised it was because there was no noise at all. No birds, no people walking round, no cars everywhere. It was awesome just walking to my bus stop in complete silence.

that, right there, is the thing i love most about snow. the snow sucks up all the sound. it's very peaceful. on days like that in college i'd put on all my snow gear and walk up to the woods above campus, drop my butt into the snow, and just lay there looking up.

snow is fun.... the foot and a half + we had here a month or so ago, absolutely crippled everything. No complaints on my end though.

it was 12 degrees this morning when i woke up.

it's 65 right now.
