This is weird. It looks as if that dude arranged it and recorded it first, but I swear there are points in that video where his hand position on the fret doesn't match up with what's being played. I'm not talking a slight delay caused by encoding, I mean that he doesn't seem to be anywhere near the right fret. Maybe its just the angle and the crappy quality of Youtube. How many frets does that Strat have? Looks like the Red Special is 23. Maybe that's what I'm seeing, is just the difference in neck length.

I havent played much guitar but I was thinking the same thing, thought it was just a shitty dub though

probably a fret difference, but I don't play guitar, so I dunno

no time to watch at the moment but unless he's playing something high up the fretboard on the high e string, whatever note it is can be played in a number of other places most likely...that's not even counting octaves

Honestly, the youtube video is of crappy enough quality where you can't really tell. I'm just gonna chalk up any weirdness to that.
