The FCC fined CBS affliates a total somewhere around that amount for "airing indecent material". No individual made any money off that.

I almost don't want to admit it, but I was actually watching that halftime show and I didn't even notice her boob popped out till they showed it over and over and over again on every channel after that.

Ah, I remember reading an article about a woman from Texas bringing a case similar to that because it had effected her childrens outlook on life or something to the tune of.

I didn't watch the half-time show, but when it was aired here it was played on a few of the news channels. They thought of it as more of a joke than a scandal.
