He's got a hangup about killing them, too. It's why he is stuck in/as 3H, never could matriculate to the 4H "CLUB".
No place for that touchy-feely bunny hugging in a farming community! I suspect his family sent him to Texas over it.

See, either way, someone ends up dying. Fish, cows, deer, bunnies, aliens. . . .

I'm worried about hips, sounds like he is giving up on bodily hygiene.

I had a rabbit when I was around age 5 or 6. His name was Fireball. Because I knew fuck-all about rabbits at that age, he got worms and had to be put down. I was also not given much for guidance on his burial, so being only 6" deep, the neighbor's 3 labs promptly ate him. Poor, poor, Fireball. If only he'd never met me.

Am I a bad person if this story made me chuckle a bit in retrospect?

Didn't phase them in the slightest, that I was aware. I hung out with them daily. My buddy's dogs.
