Yeah, being able to do the flip definitely depends on the curve at the edge of the pan.

and the size of the pan, and thickness of what you're trying to flip. Heat level and stickiness of the pan come into play as well.

so does wrist strength, so jerk off more often to make sure you can pan flip.
