So, I have a mason jar of Ruhlmann recipe eggnog in the fridge.

2 years old.

Gonna crack into it in a few days and see what happens.

And I'm sure the gf would be glad to see the fuckin' thing gone.
 
The 18% alcohol mixture sterilizes it after a couple weeks you big dummy.

Is that time enough for what bacteria did grow to start producing toxins that are "non living" and remain no matter if the producing bacteria is still alive?

A la botulism. Bacteria dies quick, but produces plenty of nasty stuff before it does that doesnt "die"

So let me get this straight. You think there's so much bacteria already in these eggs that alcohol will be useless. I hope no one tries to eat these eggs then! Or @gee's eggnog that is two years old!
