what's the deal with the secret weapons pack or whatever it's called...see anything good come from that?

If I recall it wasn't that cool. Added a jetpack and some other nonsense, to a WW2 game of all things.

Install bf1942.
Download bf1942 patch 1.6 here and install.
Download bf1942 patch 1.6b here and install.
Download DC here and install.
Optionally, download dcx (dc extended, adds new weapons, tweaks, fixes, new units, etc) here and install. Note you need to install it inside your bf1942 folder \ mods folder. By default it wants to install it to the default bf1942 game folder. If you are like me and have a separate partition for games, make sure you point to your bf1942 folder. The installer is dumb and doesn't automatically locate game folder.

Next week I should have a nice dual xeon L5340 w/ 8GB RAM 1u supermicro server that I'm putting in my colo. I could run just about any game server on it.
