Watched 3-4 episodes. Don't hate it. Don't love it.Anybody watch Wednesday? I have mixed emotions.
I watched it during pneumonia recuperation. Meh. The young lady put a lot of work into that role. Writing was meh. Needed Lurch and Cousin It.Anybody watch Wednesday? I have mixed emotions.
Started it last night, seems good so far. Pretty funny and I like a lot of the acting. Wednesday does Halloween Hogwarts is a cool concept.Anybody watch Wednesday? I have mixed emotions.
Should be all fixed now. If not, I blame @Domon
I have! I also have mixed emotions but overall I enjoyed it. like, I like it with an asterisk hahaAnybody watch Wednesday? I have mixed emotions.
To me, it felt like gothy Nancy Drew and not like the Addams Family other than the characters' names. It was a great show, just not what I would expect.I have! I also have mixed emotions but overall I enjoyed it. like, I like it with an asterisk haha
Yeah, it was a Netflix adaptation.it felt like gothy Nancy Drew and not like the Addams Family
yeah I've also seen people call it goth Harry PotterTo me, it felt like gothy Nancy Drew and not like the Addams Family other than the characters' names. It was a great show, just not what I would expect.
I just kept thinking "Since when did Wednesday Addams ever care if one of her family members was a murderer? Isn't that kind-of their MO?"yeah I've also seen people call it goth Harry Potter
I think it's a tough situation because like, if it is set up like Addams Family, then it's Addams Family and not Wednesday, so it was bound to be at least a little different just by nature of shifting the focus. it didn't have to be a spoopy mystery, but I think if it wasn't mystery it would have leaned more heavily on the drama/romance part, rather than having that be kind of a subplot that related back to the mystery.
yeah that part did sit weird, like SHE essentially tried to murder a guy in the first episodeI just kept thinking "Since when did Wednesday Addams ever care if one of her family members was a murderer? Isn't that kind-of their MO?"
