the writing in black sails, at least the early episodes (as i didnt get psat that) was just too cringey and bad for me to get through.

I think I got turned off to bBlack Sails because I couldn’t buy into everyone being super hot and having great teeth in that time period.

altered carbon was awful

No kidding. It had great possibilities but had to go out of its way to be confusing when they thought they were being clever. It turned into an exhausting show to try to binge. If and hour long show feels like 90 minutes, fuck it. It ain’t hard for a little ADD to set in.
