It examined an issue from the shallowest possible perspective, didn't explore it beyond some jokey bullshit about a 3rd leg, and had a bunch of dick and fart jokes thrown in?

The show is overall terrible.

The first two episodes were ok, the third one was much better and had the spirit of TNG written all over it. Brannon Braga directed it so it's not surprising.

Meh.

It examined multiple divisive issues and showed how conflict can arise when cultures class. I don't think it was shallow at all, especially for a 43 minute TV show. The third leg thing wasn't jokey at all, that was a legitimate point. I counted one dick joke at the beginning, the rest of the humor was well placed and the resolution of the was better than expected.

I understand if you guys don't like it but I think if the whole show finds its balance like the third episode then I'll enjoy it a lot
