Food TV shows that you may not be watching but should be

I like it though it annoys me how much potential this story had, yet they didn't capitalize on it. Too many times they dragged a story along going nowhere until much later.

Hmmm.. i agree it drags on but it kinda keeps the viewer wanting more.
It's my all time fave show ever.

I think they did a fantastic job with the visuals. I just don't think the story, or the portrayal of the story was up to the same standard.

My favourite TV show so far has been Homeland.
 
So far in 4 episodes nothing big has gone down. We have seen a suspected turncoat not hump his wife and a lead gal who takes her job way too seriously.
 
She nailed being a loony toon, sure, but it was distracting from the story having her whine and cry when big shit would go down.
Her dealing with mental issues while simultaneously having to deal with a very stressful, demanding, and extremely important job is an spectacular story.
