Ontopic Top Albums Of Your Teen Years

I had a real love hate relationship with Jane's Addiction and RHCP during my youth. It wasn't until I was older that I really appreciated them.

I have a 24 year old jane's addiction t-shirt from their first xxx album

forgot RHCP - mother's milk and blood, sugar, sex, magic
those were the only 2 I really listened to. both are john frusciante guitar albums

So I started looking at 1988, when I turned 13 and it looks like most of the songs that topped the charts that year were from albums that came out in 1987, a truly awesome year in music, but I guess I can't include them :(

a few albums I listed were from the late 80's but it was decidedly 90's music, just pre-nirvana. people were making grunge and alt rock long before them.

You were clearly a NU-Metal guy. But I did forget about Fear Factory. That is exactly what I was hoping for from this thread a nice reminder of a band or two I forgot about.
