I heard about it on NPR last week, so I know its true. :p
And we all know NPR is a bastion of balanced reporting. :p

I listen to it too but tend to disregard editorial comments.

I'll take my knowledge (ex Army enlisted. Father retired as full bird Colonel, Sister is a light bird Colonel, a cousin who "retired" out of the Navy as a chief petty officer E-8 (RIP Joe.) plus I am an amateur historian with US military history being my favorite.) over the :tard:s at NPR :p:fly::heart:

If they truly believed in what they are saying now then they should haved done what General Billy Mitchel did after WWI. No they care more fore their retirement pay then their "beliefs".
And maybe one will eventually, but I certainly wouldn't expect a bevy of them. (Notice how your example was from WWI, and we've done a ton of bad shit since then.)

Actually if we fought WWI right now Im absolutely 100% sure that there would be people protesting it and feeling sorry for the 'poor' germans.

Misdirection...

Anyway, I'm not so sure about that. imho, no one feels sorry for the Afgans, just the Iraqis that have nothing to fucking do with the problem. They just get to be blown up by the insurgents that we brought in.

There isn't much point trying to illustrate the problem to a hawk who believes that Rumsfeld is the only one "Worth a damn" in Bush's admin. He isn't worth a bucket of warm shit.
